Josephine did say that there would be wildlife, but my experience of this promise at UK parks was the odd rabbit and some tweeting sparrows. So dinner accompanied by a host of inquisitive kookaburras was a surprise. To the corner of my eye I spot my first ‘Skippy,’ a sight familiar to Australians but still a small thrill, and one to be repeated throughout my stay. An emu tapping on my window awakens me. A flurry of butterflies play tag in the trees. I sip my wine in my boutique bush lodge. Wildlife Way indeed
