This small town has big history! The perfect way to make the most of the season, to get outside, learn a little, and have photos and stories to share. Walking tours give you a chance to literally take to the path and see the community from a different perspective, to wander around and learn about the story behind town.
Starting from the Halls Gap Information centre (117-119 Grampians Road, Halls Gap) meet your local guide who will lead you around the town, passing points of interest and stopping occasionally to discuss particular areas of interest in detail.
Following pathed footpaths, and some gravel areas, however some uneven surfaces and small undulation in the paths. However is walk is rated easy. Total of 2km is covered during this time.
Not only will we cover the history of the town, interesting characters who lived in the early years, buildings and Infrastructure, flora and fauna. The town has a great history and stories, so many interesting facts and we finish our walk at The Historical Society which will be opened up just for us, by long time local and with many generations of his family before him living in the area.
