Come to the Grampians Grape Escape in a beautiful setting and relish some of the finest meals and wines the Grampians offers.

With more than 100 stalls worldwide, the Grampians Grape Escape offers delicious gourmet food, live music, authentic Aussie wines and masterclasses to offer you some tips on the various methods of creative cooking.

This iconic wine, food and music festival has celebrated Western Victoria’s producers and makers for 30 years. Wine poured straight from the winemaker, produce direct from the producer – GGE is the time to raise your glass to the district’s hardworking families.

They kick start the three-day festival with Feel-Good Friday, where you can let your hair down to three amazing live bands. Then on Saturday and Sunday, explore a village of more than 100 stalls, from wine and whiskey to calamari and candles. Saturday and Sunday also feature exhibitor masterclasses, cooking demonstrations, live music, guest chefs, plus plenty of free fun for the kiddies.

Each day will offer something different to see, eat, drink, and enjoy. The celebrations kick off with Feel-Good Friday, with bands Shell Yeah, 19-Twenty and Madhouse. Better still, festival-goers can enjoy fifteen live bands across the three days.

The full festival village will open up on Saturday and Sunday. Meet renowned guest chefs; get involved with the hotly contested Barrique Auction; indulge in exhibitor tastings and festival food trucks; let the kids get creative in the David O Jones Little Adventurers Precinct; hone your culinary skills at a masterclass and support the best food, wine, beer and cider artisans in the region.

Knock off work early and take part in what is going to be the ultimate Fri-yay night. Dance the twilight away to authentic surf band Shell Yeah, 19-Twenty, and festival favourite cover band, Madhouse. On Saturday and Sunday, the music stage will feature everything from ‘Femmericana’ twang to 70s Glam Rock.

Kids will be well entertained in the festival village on Saturday and Sunday, while parents can relax and enjoy a local drop or two. The Festival Directors are both mums to young children, so they totally get the need for kids’ entertainment to be able to relax (and stay) at an event.

Grab a teammate and get yourselves down to the Grape Stomping arena right next to the Experience The Grampians site. Register your team of two under a team name to get amongst the Grampians Great Grape Stomp. Here’s a hint – register first thing in the morning!

The challenge is to see how much juice your team can stomp out of your grapes in a battle against three other teams. The winning team of each heat will receive a bottle of Montara wine each and advance straight to the Grand Final, where they will stomp it out for great prizes, including a helicopter flight for two or a wine tour for four!
